WIN WIN WIN!!!!
Most of you may have already heard-but to those who have'nt I'm running a competition in conjunction with me visiting Auckland for the National jewellery show in July.
Of course you don't need to be in Auckland to win-in fact you could be anywhere worldwide!!!!

This was my entry in the Regal castings jewellery awards in conjunction with the national jewelleryshow www.jewelleryshow.co.nz.

THE STUDIO
One of my favourite quotes-stuck to the side of my ultrasonic-like Henry Miller I'm REALLY good at the "drunkenly" part!
To all my dear customers ..
See you in Spring-I'll be back at the Art Centre market hopefully!*(If management let me return after winter...0
Till then do still call if you want to see me-I'll be hiding in my studio.
BRRRR....
"All the leaves are brown"...
No they are more vivid red ,bold orange,gold,pewter,bronze-it's very ,very pretty here at the moment in the garden city.
I've been working away at new "planet" designs-for bracelets and necklaces ,hoping to showcase up at the national jewellery show in Auckland mid July. That and my "starlight starbright" bracelet in Sterling-not gold (which has a price tag that makes people faint).
Here are a few pic's of recent work-the pictures I feel just are'nt good enough for the site!
***Please note this is purely MY opinion-it is not mean't to upset only amuse.
Whilst in Melbourne I decided to embark on a tour of a few of Melbournes contemporary jewellery galleries.Having visited 2 years previosly I was curious to see what had evolved...
First stop Eg:Etal-the one underground next to Zambesi*(apparently the other smaller shop had closed-financially tough times and too many artists a friend who used to work there had commented).
Hot,hot hot graffiti in Melbourne-love this one below!!!

PART ONE
I've just returned from a three week stint in Oz-first stop Melbourne...
I can't believe it -in a weeks time I'll be in Australia(my second home)-can't wait to check out the contemporary jewellery galleries in Melbourne and Sydney and especially the fabulous work of some of Melbournes artists.
I already stock "Courtesy of the Artist" in Surrey Hils Sydney-long name-small but gorgeous little boutique jewellery store...The kind of thing I hope to own one day...
